At Southex Books & Prints Private Limited, we have built our reputation on long-standing relationships with clients, the expertise of a highly skilled staff, and a profound understanding of the enduring value of fine prints and books. The firm was established in Kolkata in 1967 by Mr. G. C. Jain, who began by trading in curios and antique books. Today, the legacy continues with Mr Sanjiv Jain, his wife Mrs Ruby Jain, their daughter Mrs. Divya Jain, and their son Mr. Akshay Jain.
We offer an exceptional variety of old lithographic prints, rare early maps, and a fascinating collection of early photographs from India and around the world. Our subjects include monuments, architecture, portraits, natural history, flora and fauna, voyages, and major historical events such as the Battle of Tipu Sultan, the Anglo-Sikh War, and the Great Indian Mutiny.
