Views in India, chiefly among the Himalaya Mountains. Drawn from nature by George F. White Esq. 31st Reg. Stamped maroon leather with gilt vignette to front and back, AEG with 37 plates including the frontispiece. 

Many from the present drawings 'executed on the spot', provided one of first pictorial surveys of the then little-known Himalayas. It was taken during tours in the direction of Mussooree, Simla, the sources of the Jumna and Ganges in 1829, 1831 and 1832.
